This holiday season, there’s a new Santa in town, one that comes bearing gifts to all good and bad NFT DGENs alike.

Enter The OpenDAO: A movement backed by the $SOS token, claimable with any address that has ever transacted with Opensea.

Having released nearly 3 days ago, $SOS has since skyrocketed in value, with over 180,000 unique holders at this time of writing.

The excitement of the $SOS token in the NFT space is palpable, though still shrouded in mystery.

What is its purpose?

Apart from paying tribute to NFT collectors that trade on Opensea, The OpenDao’s mission includes compensating verified Opensea scam victims, supporting NFT artists and creators, and providing developer grants for platforms participating in the $SOS ecosystem.
